Kuya dishes out disciplinary action to 9 housemates

Kuya dishes out disciplinary action to 9 housemates

The first nomination night marked a definite change in things. The gravity of having to nominate and be nominated by their peers stressed the fact that their every action was being noted, and they had to take responsibility for it. Kuya highlighted the need to respect the house rules, starting by marking Maichel with an automatic nomination.
If the others thought they got off scot-free, they thought wrong. In fact, almost all of the housemates got called in for some disciplinary action. Kyra, Joe, Angelo, Maichel and Eslove all committed violations, primarily one where they bathed outside of the shower area. To teach them a lesson, Kuya had them color themselves blue from head to toe and act like Agua (of the primetime show “Agua Bendita”). Shey, Yong, Tricia and Potz were also called in for lapel violation. As a consequence, they had to dress up as life-sized microphones and were only allowed to speak if they spoke by rapping. At first, they still managed to smile at their situation, but after some time, it took its toll on them and they were more than ready to appeal to Kuya.
Kuya was quite forgiving, and was willing to lift their punishments as long as they performed a task in exchange. Those from Team Villa had to present a scene about Agua Bendita, with Shey and Yong providing the background theme song. Devon and Yong were tasked to play the role of Bendita to the others’ Agua, but since Yong also had his own punishment to worry about, Devon was the sole Bendita in the skit. Tricia and Pots, on the other hand, had to give a full report about all their housemates while rapping. If Team Villa took the challenge as another team effort, the pair from Team Apartment were not as lucky with their partnership. Tension sparked between Pots and Tricia. Pots kept on reminding Tricia to chill, while Tricia got irritated with Pots’ lack of concentration. Fortunately, their housemates gave a positive feedback on their performance. Both houses got Kuya’s thumbs up, and the tiring punishments finally came to an end.
A heavier consequence hangs over the heads of six teens. Tricia, Pots, Patrick, Eslove, Angelo and Maichel all made it to the first nomination list, and two of them are facing the reality of eviction by the week’s end. Tricia already expected her nomination, and though she was sad, she was able to come to terms about it. Pots remained hopeful despite obvious apprehension, while Patrick promised to cut down on his teasing and step up his game. Maichel, who was automatically nominated by Kuya himself, couldn’t help but shed tears over his predicament. Angelo realized that his past has played a big part in his actions now. He shared that he has always had trying times, and by default, he reacts seriously to everything that comes his way. Eslove, too, realized that his current actions have roots to his past. He sadly recalled how he has been a disappointment to his parents, and hoped that somehow, he would be able to make his parents proud. Shey and Joe backed him up with some pep talk, reminding him to keep going and not to break down.
It’s just the beginning of the season, and already major realizations have seeped in. Would the teens learn their lesson in time, or will they have to learn life’s lessons outside Kuya’s house? Voting is open, so send those votes and save those who are worth staying. Two housemates are up for eviction, so vote wisely!
