3-1 score for the week’s challenges, in favor of the Villa teens

This week, the teens from both houses fight for a whopping two slots to the Teen Big Night. To win these, they had to win in the various challenges that pitted them against each other. Shooting hoops while astride the treadmill was the first challenge, and was won by the Villa housemates, thanks to Ivan’s amazing accuracy.
The second challenge was “Jokelympics”, where two representatives from each house would try to make the other team laugh. They had three rounds to do it, and in each round, they were faced by three housemates from the other team who had a mouthful of liquid. After each round, they were to pour back the liquid into a cylinder, and the team with the most liquid wins. Bret and Ryan were the Teenternationals’ bid, while Patrick and Joe played for the Villa teens. In the end, Villa got their second win for the week, making the score 2-0. Though the Teenternationals felt bad, they tried to comfport each other. “It’s no one’s fault,“ said Ann. “We all did our best.” It was precisely because of this that Bret twisted the truth, telling the others that no one spat out the liquid in their turn. To Kuya, he shared that he did it so that there would be no blaming in the team. They had to be united to be able to face the other challenges ahead. “It makes me feel more strongly that we should win.” He did not want to waste time dwelling on the past. “We need to focus on what we should do.” Acting on this, the Teenternationals practiced whatever they thought was needed, from singing to arm wrestling to strutting on a make-believe catwalk.

When the third challenge came around, some of their preparation paid off: it was arm wrestling! Unfortunately, this over the top challenge added a major twist. The housemates had to put their arms inside a transparent box filled with different animals: frogs, white mice, worms, and even cockroaches! Many screams and jumps after, the score was tied at 2 for both, needing a tie-breaker. They were supposed to have simultaneous arm wrestling, but Angelo suddenly twisted his shoulder too much that he needed time out. In the end, Kuya decided to call a draw.

But just what kind of draw was merging the two houses? Yes, the second merge of the seasons took place already, when Kuya instructed the Teenternationals to pack their bags and move in the Villa. The girls were the most excited, while the boys were quite wary of the move. “I’m confused,” commented Bret. This was seconded by Carson and Richard, who felt that putting them in the same place as the other team is just the beginning of the real clash.

Just where the merge will lead is something to watch out for. Come Saturday, four more housemates will be on their way out of Kuya’s house and back to the outside world. Who among ANGELO, IVAN, KAZEL, YEN, TRICIA, RICHARD, SOPHIA and CARSON will get your vote? Choose now and text BB (housemate’s name) and send it to 2331 for Globe, TM, Sun and Bayan Wireless or 231 for Smart and Talk n Text. Your vote, their future.
