Shey steps out of the Big Brother house

Shey steps out of the Big Brother house

The number three must be jinxed. Only into the third week of the third season of the PBB Teen Edition, Big Brother has already given three Forced Eviction cards. While nobody likes getting the boot - or even giving the boot, so to speak - but perhaps, it is the teen housemates here that seem to have the problem. For weeks now, most of them have been stepping out of line. In turn, Big Brother has not much of a choice but to let his stack of patience run out. After all, there are rules he set in his house for the housemates to strictly follow.
Unfortunately, Shey - being the third one to do so - failed to remember the rules. So last night, Big Brother announced her forced eviction in front of all the teen housemates in the living room. Such a sad event for her and especially for those who are very close to her inside the house but her series of nomination-related violations need to be adressed with a punishment. She exited the house live on Uber today, with her mother and former housemate and fellow forced evictee Eslove. When asked by host Mariel Rodriguez what her message was to the people, she said, ""Thank you po. Sana tanggapin niyo po ako. Kung may nagawa man ako sa loob, lahat yun ay may rason. Hindi po ako gagawa sa kapwa ko ng masama (Thank you. I hope you accept me. Everything I did inside the house has its reason. I wouldn't do something wrong against my fellow housemate)."
Tagged as the "Diskarte Bombshell ng Mindoro," Shey is known to be a tough girl in spite of her allure. Her personality - a mixture of strong and sweet - earned her the spot of being the leader (and the cook!) of the former Villa group of housemates. Not only that, she has also built an image of a big sister to Kyra and Devon and a buddy to the rest of the boys especially Eslove and Joe.
However, her patience and ability to adapt to changes was challenged when the Big Switch between Joe and Tricia, who was from the Team Apartment. Shey planted a dislikeness in her heart for the new housemate that tried so hard to enter their circle, leading to their apparent clash in moments of games, tasks and even daily routines. But thankfully, things eventually evened out between them.
When the Summerge happened, Shey was still regarded as the housemate everybody looked up to and followed. This was clear in how she made most of the decisions within the house and how she took care of her housemates. And so during her live eviction earlier, it was understood why her housemates had no kinder words to say about her. "Ikaw ang naging ate naming lahat dito; mamimiss ka namin (You were our big sister here; we will miss you very much)," Ivan said while Fretzie couldn't help but express her sadness over the impending absence of Shey's stellar cooking skills. "Mamimiss ko ang mga masarap mong niluluto (I'll miss the delicious meals you cook for us)." Shey, who usually had a solid grasp of her emotions, couldn't help but shed tears. "'Pag labas niyo dito, sa bahay ko kayo tumira lahat. Aalagaan ko kayo. Wag niyo kalimutan, mahal na mahal ko kayo. (When you leave this house, you can all stay in mine. I will take care of you. Don't forget that I love you all very much)," she said as her final message to her housemates.
Big Brother must also be very sad to let Shey go but again, rules are meant to be followed. Shey's three-week-long stay inside his house has already been memorable enough, as it is also where she has finally able to see a photo of her father's face (and not just feet!). Now that she is out into the outside world, she can reunite with her father at long last. Good luck, Shey!
Meanwhile, stay tune for Teenternational housemates James and Brent's entrance into the Villa on Primetime tonight!
