Painful adjustments in the Villa
Everybody needs the need to belong and be accepted. These are most apparent in teen housemate Tricia, the newbie in the Villa. Kuya acknowledges the difficulty of trying to fit in a group that has already formed a bond, and asked Yong to step in as Tricia’s “personal guardian angel”. Yong, who had already admitted his admiration to Tricia, was the one most willing to make things work with her in the house. The girls were already close with each other, and it would only be a matter of time before their animosity towards Tricia became apparent. Tricia was not as oblivious as she appeared to be. She asked her new housemates how they found her, and generally, they remained safe with their answers. The boys, in particular, assured her that she was doing okay. Tricia urges them to speak up if they had something against her, so that she could change it. Shey remained skeptical of this move, and tried to keep her distance. Devon and Kyra felt that Tricia was too loud, sometimes out of line. Shey, whom Tricia seemed to gravitate more towards to the point of borrowing clothes, found her actions too assuming and feeling too close to those she had just met. Tricia offered a pair of jeans to Kyra and asked Devon to help her with her clothes. Kyra accepted her gift, but Devon chose not to lend her a hand. To Yong, Tricia acknowledged that she was wary of the others and senses that the Villa was Shey’s “territory”, another explanation of why she was sidling up to her.
Until when can the Villa girls live together with such tension brewing? Shey decided to put a stop to it and confronts Tricia. Just what she said and how Tricia took it are hot stuff to look forward to, so don’t miss it on tomorrow’s PBB Teen Clash of 2010 Primetime!
