Let the Clash begin!

Let the Clash begin!

For the past week, the Villa teens had been visited by the Teenternational housemates under different pretenses. The latest visit was by the R2J, which was actually Ryan, Richard and Jack pretending to be K-Pop artists. The trio’s entrance was preceded by a short music video shown to the Villa teens, after which they went in the house to teach the Villa teens some dance moves. Ryan was made group leader, and he got so into the task that he kept on talking to the Villa housemates. Jack felt that more conversation meant more chances to slip up and blow their cover, and telling Ryan so resulted in an argument in front of the Villa teens. Richard played mediator to the two, while Ryan admitted later on that it was his fault that he did not listen. Though R2J managed to finish their task, their argument made the Villa teens wonder if they were a real K-Pop group. The answer came soon enough. Kuya gathered the teens of both houses and had them meet via plasma screen. The Teenternational housemates began by greeting the Villa housemates in their native language, then asked permission to talk some more. They then talked in Filipino and Visayan, surprising the Villa teens. Kuya then revealed the true situation: that they were actually the Teenternational housemates and were living in the Apartment. Moreover, they were to compete with each other in various tasks, including the current week’s “Interpreteens” task. It would all be fine and dandy, until Kuya dropped the serious reality of what they were competing for: 100% weekly budget and 3 slots to the Teen Big Night.
Yes, for the next three weeks, the two houses will be competing for slots to the Teen Big Night. Each week’s win translates to a slot given to the occupants of the particular house. The first task was a physical challenge. Each team had a box filled with a gooey mixture, and they had to jog in place without sinking in it. Bret and Patrick were chosen as team leaders, and both teams came with a prepared cheer. The game reached a 5-5 score, and a sudden death match had to take place. The best bets of each house were Patrick and Carson. The first player whose feet sink in the goo, loses. In the end, Team Villa wins the task, as Carson’s feet sank for a moment. As consequence to the losing team, one of them would be held prisoner at the Villa.
. Patrick, whose first week as team leader was full of losses, found relief and redemption in the win that he personally made possible. “Sobrang sarp po ng feeling,” he shared with Kuya. “Nanalo kami as representatives of the Philippines!” The Teenternational housemates took their first loss in stride, sealing their bond with a group hug and words of encouragement. April, however, was bothered with the way that Tricia looked at her. She felt that it was a challenging look, something that the boys of the Villa noticed as well. Tricia, however, was quite oblivious to the fact and asked what it was that she did. “Nakakasira ka ng kalaban. Maiinis muna tapos matatalo,” Joe described. Likewise, the Villa girls found April a strong challenger.
What challenges are up next? How will the two teams prepare, now that they know what’s at stake? Keep watching as the clash gets intense! Choose a team.
